Support The Healthy Families Act - Sign Our Petition!

Senator Kennedy and Representative DeLauro re-introduced legislation in April that requires employers to provide a minimum of seven paid sick days a year. Almost half (47 percent) of private sector workers and 59 million total workers in the U.S. have no paid sick leave at all. Some 86 million workers do not have paid sick leave that can be used to care for sick children. Workers shouldn't have to choose between their family and a paycheck.
